Hey there Dandyians! It’s that time of the year again – Ramadan! If you have Muslim friends or colleagues, sometimes you may wonder if eating in front of them during the fasting month is okay. Well, let us tell you, it’s totally COOL!
Our Muslim team member, Ms Ainni said, “Don’t worry, its okay to eat or drink in front of us during Ramadan. We appreciate the respect for our beliefs, but hey, we’re not gonna be hangry just ’cause you’re eating” 😉 So feel free to munch that Shawarma rice or slurp on that Iced-Tea while your Muslim friend is fasting.
So, just DIG IN!
Respecting and understanding your Muslim friends’ beliefs and practices during Ramadan is important. Now, I know what you’re thinking – what if you have questions about Ramadan or the fasting? Well, don’t be shy! Ask your Muslim friends directly because they’ll be more than happy to answer your queries. It’s an excellent way to show interest in their culture and strengthen your friendship.
Better yet, if you want to experience Ramadan with your Muslim friends, why not invite them for Iftar, the evening meal that breaks the fast? You’ll get to try some delicious food and at the same time learn about the customs and traditions associated with Ramadan. Trust us, it’s an experience you will remember!
So there you have it, Dandyians! Eating in front of your Muslim friends during Ramadan is no biggie. And if you want to show emotional support to your Muslim friends in the spirit of Ramadan, why not send them a care package of halal snacks? It’s a thoughtful gesture that shows your support for their religious practices and allows them to enjoy some tasty treats during their break fast!
