Dandy Queensbay Mall won Restoran Terbaik Penang Award

Dandy Queensbay Mall was crowned “Restoran Terbaik” (ahem.. Best Restaurant) in Penang!

We’re mighty proud of this recognition and we couldn’t have done it without all the hardcore support from our beloved Dandyians, and of course the relentless passion of our Dandy family.

The award was presented to our Resource Executive, Ms. Ainn, by YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang at the Batu Lanchang Complex parking lot to celebrate the Opening Ceremony of Hawker and Trader Community Day organised by Penang Island City Council (MBPP) on 3rd December 2022.

According to MBPP secretary Datuk A. Rajendran, a total of 95.8% of food premises in Penang have achieved Grades A and B based on guidelines set by the council for cleanliness and food safety.

The tradition of celebrating the hawkers and traders in Penang by the city council as an annual affair has been going on for almost 30 years since 1996. It is an initiative to show appreciation to the community for the critical role they play in developing and empowering the socio-economic state of Penang.
